Wouldn't it be better if average, ';hard'; working people made millions than celebrities who only party?

I'm tired of hearing about celebrities who do nothing better with their lives except party and make millions of dollars in the process, while the rest of us hard working people have to struggle with our money. Do you really think some, if not all those celebrities - for example, Lindsay and Paris - who make millions of dollars a year truly deserve it, compared to how hard some people work and just get by on their paycheck?Wouldn't it be better if average, ';hard'; working people made millions than celebrities who only party?
I totally agree with you.



However, it's not their faults. It's our own faults for buying into all this crap the media (we) throws at us.



We go out and try to immulate what they do, wear, go, buy, eat. We make them the commodity for no reason.



Paris was already rich. Lindsay is a good actress. However, i don't feel her work compares to the backbreaking hard blanking work my mother has done all her life.Wouldn't it be better if average, ';hard'; working people made millions than celebrities who only party?

Paris and Lindsay don't only party. They are both actresses and singers, even if you don't like them, they have jobs.



But yeah, the celebrities who are famous for nothing, they shouldn't get paid. But normal people can make millions. Depends on your job.

If every ';average person'; was paid millions of dollars, then being rich wouldn't mean anything. If those girls didn't have millions, they wouldn't just party, they would work at Starbucks while they went to college then got jobs just like a ';regular person';.

Celebrities deserve their pay. They are entertainers who bring in a lot of money to entertainment companies--and I'd definitely expect them to share it with the people the customers also love. If you still think they don't work hard enough to earn the money (in Paris' case I'd agree--her show is pretty stupid, but people watch it--that's why I'd still say she earned it), call the extra cash a bonus for putting up with stalkers following them to the grocery store so they can put a lame picture on the internet.



Besides, I think you underestimate what some of these people do. Lindsay actually has talent and has turned in good performances in a few movies. She's been working in movies for more than a decade and knows what she's doing. They have crazy schedules when they are shooting a movie or making a show, and their job isn't even finished when the movie is done--then they have to go on talk shows and make appearances to promote it. And if it gets too stressful and/or they want to have some fun, there's someone following along with a camera. Normal people would quit in a week.
Yes i agree!! It would be but i really like the answer that you gave that dude that was wondering about the fast money and drugs and athletes and things like that. I commented too...it was the truth especially about the stereo-type
