Is this another example that republicans don't care about working people?

Republican gov. rick perry intends to build a highway from the mexican border clean up to oklahoma .He plans to take land from the very people who voted for him. A toll road called the texas corridor and to add insult to injury he is going to let foreign companies build it and foreigners are to run the toll road . It is bad enough that he plans to take land that has been in families for generations.With Americans in large numbers out of work and he wants to put foreigner to work ? President bush tried to give foreigners control of some of Americas ports .How long will it take for working people who support the republicans to understand that republicans only care about their rich friends? I am very sure that the people who I saw crying about the texas corridor highway voted for rick help the rich perry ? Now what will you all do now that you see who you have put you faith in ? If you reelect rick look out for the mexican built Texas corridor and a toll road run by mexicansIs this another example that republicans don't care about working people?
I'd rather give my money and vote to a rich American or a mexican who is willing to work rather than a liberal who don't or won't work and contributes to nothing but his beer gut or drug taking.lol.Is this another example that republicans don't care about working people?
Maybe this highway would be a good thing~if it is a toll road it will be paid for by the people who use it?

thus it would spare the taxpayers a burden~but as far as foreign help doing everything~maybe this should

be reconsidered~do you have a source for this?

in the Philippines the Filipino's often have Japanese builders and contractors build highways

because their is lest chance of *GRAFT* and *Corruption* in building anything

Maybe this is to keep the crooks away from the government funds?
Obama cares so much for the poor and homeless, considering all of the money he has already spent, why don't you post ';at least'; 20 links to all the people who are no longer poor and homeless because of him?

I can post links to all of the corporations and CEO's he has given money to.

And why are you whining about them hiring the Mexicans? You liberals are the ones who want the borders left open so every crook from around the world will have easier access to America.
I doubt that toll road will pass. The SPP is no longer an active initiative.

Except for this issue, I like Perry. I am a Texans and our economy is strong and in surplus unlike most of the country. What we need on this issue is the tea bag movmemnt to put preassure for this not to happen.

However you should know that is a republican, Ron Paul non the less trying to stop this in Washington, Here I copy information on it:

HON. RON PAUL OF TEXAS

BEFORE THE US HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

February 9, 2005

HR 418- A National ID Bill Masquerading as Immigration Reform

';It will not address our real vulnerabilities. It will, however, make us much less free. In reality, this bill is a Trojan horse. It pretends to offer desperately needed border control in order to stampede Americans into sacrificing what is uniquely American: our constitutionally protected liberty.';

';It contains no limits on the government's power to impose additional standards. Indeed, it gives authority to the Secretary of Homeland Security to unilaterally add requirements as he sees fit.';

';Supporters claim it is not a national ID because it is voluntary. However, any state that opts out will automatically make non-persons out of its citizens. The citizens of that state will be unable to have any dealings with the federal government because their ID will not be accepted. They will not be able to fly or to take a train. In essence, in the eyes of the federal government they will cease to exist. It is absurd to call this voluntary.';

';This legislation gives authority to the Secretary of Homeland Security to expand required information on driver's licenses, potentially including such biometric information as retina scans, finger prints, DNA information, and even Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) radio tracking technology. Including such technology as RFID would mean that the federal government, as well as the governments of Canada and Mexico, would know where Americans are at all time of the day and night.';

H.R. 418 does what legislation restricting firearm ownership does. It punishes law-abiding citizens. Criminals will ignore it. H.R. 418 offers us a false sense of greater security at the cost of taking a gigantic step toward making America a police state';
