(Warning: Disturbing) Why are working people such fools?

I was talking to an industry executive the other day. He was laughing about how he really hopes that the taxes rate for the general public goes sky high. See it turns out that he already has his money sheltered in an off-shore trust account, so he pays virtually no taxes. Now here's the hitch. He wants taxes to go higher so he'll get longer hours out of people! I kid you not !!!!! He's noticed that as people have less to spend that they keep working overtime to try to keep up - with most going to taxes. So his bonus for the year increases because they get more work out of each employee (hence less health care costs).



I still can't believe that people assume that working will get them ahead?????? Are people blind to the fact that EVERYTHING is stacked against the working loser! All this mega overtime and hard effort does is fatten the pockets of the already rich. When will people wake up ! The ';work ethic'; has to go. It is the biggest lie ever told!!!!!(Warning: Disturbing) Why are working people such fools?
Not everyone is like him. Most people enjoy their jobs and it gives them their idenity. We need to work to be someone. God is not excited about lazy conniving people. He will get his just reward. We should be good stewarts of our money and wise investing is one of them. But to rip off honest working people is a sin. What goes around comes around.(Warning: Disturbing) Why are working people such fools?

We who work should stop working ... and let YOU provide our shelter, food, great vacations, etc., etc., etc.
Not every one has it that easy i work my *** off overtime and all that ****. still i know that everthing is stacked against me but f,./ it what is the difference some rich guy is always going to find a way to make money thats why he's rich. But i bet hes not happy poor bastard me i like work and i like my life no guilt.
but without work to get wat little money they get week to week how could people afford to live? u dont always find money in the streets and no fairy is gunna sav u from hunger without sum cash. they hav to work, even if it comes to nothing, cuz at least they arent starving while they work.
so the secret is guit work?

I doubt any working class stiff would fall for this and no one with any reasoning would fall for it either...

Guess the whole work world is just an example of ';BAD WORK ETHIC';
i would have to say that only some of them are fools because my mom is a working person and she really smart and they are fools because they have so much on their mind about work the don't think about the little stuff in life.
Happy for you that you have found your excuse not to work. Now who do you think will pay your unemployment and where is that money coming from?

You shouldnt take that statement as representative of all bosses, some are actually encouraging their workforce to get ahead, eg by employee share schemes, etc.

I dont come from the United States of America, so if your opinion is representative of the average worker's feelings in your country, I feel for you. In my country a lot of working class people manage to get ahead, buy their houses and give their children a good education
The tax structure in this country is unethical and punishes hard work. I'll vote for the candidate everytime that wants to change the tax structure in favor of the working man, but until things change I'm going to take advantage of the way things are right now to make money--even if it is unfair it would be stupid not to
