Mederma CREAM? will it work? (people who might have used it would help more?)?

I ran out of the regular mederma %26lt;used for injury scars, surgery scars,, acne scars, stretch marks, etc%26gt;(that is not the sunproof cream) and my mother got me the mederma cream. I read the ingredients though and it doesn't match the ones in the other mederma...at all. What's up with that? I had a scar on my leg and the regular mederma worked.(I noticed it has allium cepa (onion) extract, which was tested on the surgery scars of patients vs. petroleum jelly, and worked (although the petroleum jelly worked a bit faster) )But now I have a burn on my leg from getting off a motorcycle %26lt;long story, I *had* to take the motorcycle and my uncle forgot to tell me how to get off of it, especially with shorts on%26gt; But the mederma cream doesnt have that all, and in fact none of the ingredients match eachother. Oh, I just thought of something..does the cream match the ingredients of petroleum jelly? petroleum jelly does work faster...on scars at least. idk how it works on the other things mederma is used for (stretchmarks, etc)Mederma CREAM? will it work? (people who might have used it would help more?)?
Mederma Cream has SPF 30 sunscreen protection. To protect the scars from sun's harmful rays. Its ideal for scar that are exposed to sun's rays with UVA/UVB protection.
