How do people just randomly move to other cities with no money and no jobs?
I've done this twice. I had 300$ and a duffel bag full of clothes.
The first step is to try to have some friends in the area before you go there, that way you can have a place to sleep and shower while you are job hunting. The second step is to know what jobs you are willing to do. I've bussed tables, hung doors, done outbound telemarketing and even busked on the street as an acrobat/juggler/magician in order to get my start.
It definitely helps to have a variety of skills. It also is well worth it to avail yourself of local churches. Most of them will provide meals for free or very very cheap to anyone who needs them. Don't be above using homeless shelters, soup kitchens, etc... If you go somewhere with nothing you have to use every resource available to get you up the ladder.
Visit the local Good Will, many of them have employment centers that will help you get a temporary job.
Above all STAY CLEAN. If you are unwashed, with dirty clothes, etc... people are less likely to help you out or hire you. Hygiene is important.
And finally have a GOAL. Know what you are aiming for in the area. If you just show up without know why you're there you will become frustrated. Know your goal and pursue it. If your goal is to have a used car and a 1 bedroom apartment and be able to pay those bills then you'll always know how close you are to that. Without a goal you won't have a way to measure your progress towards it.How do people just randomly move to other cities with no money and no jobs?
broke thats how! I do it about every six months. I have one bag of clothes and my camera equipment. (I麓m a photographer)
You have to motivate yourself, don麓t give yourself time to 麓settle in麓, you find a job or you go without food. simple.
ya know what though? I麓m broke 90% of the time, and I love my life. I meet new people every day, and for once I麓m happy. I麓ve done this for five years now. I麓ll be settling down in a week because I麓m leaving Spain for Indonesia to go live with my best friends. I麓m actually scared I麓ll be a bit lost and feel a bit closed in. I love my life because I have freedom. I also learnt that material things DO NOT MATTER!
money, and a good resume. oh and selling all there other possessions for the extra cash helps. They probably also have a general idea on what they are going to do when they get there, and luck usually plays a part
find friends before u move that are in that city
talk to them before hand explain the situation
stay there intill u find a job
college
or people who inherit money
and a lot of people just charge everything on a credit card
Sometimes when you have nothing to begin with... moving to a place where you still have nothing is easy.
not surrendering and trying their best, of course with some help of other people- friends or relatives
