Do you work with people who are clueless when it comes to race relations?

Maybe some of your workmates are not really racist, but certain people that we may work with sure appear to be clueless when it comes to race relations. For example, what if someone told an African American that Al Sharpton is a ';disgrace to his race';? What does race have to do with whether someone is a disgrace or not? What if I, as a minority, told a white person that G.W. Bush is a disgrace to his race? How would that sound? Of course, I would not make that kind of statement. But if I did, you could call me racist or clueless. In light of these points, how would you answer my question?Do you work with people who are clueless when it comes to race relations?
I think that most people look at one or two Black people in the media as representatives of all Black people. But they look at White people as individuals. Al Sharpton, if he's a disgrace to anyone it's his family and his community but not to the whole Black community.Do you work with people who are clueless when it comes to race relations?
I feel to disagree. I don't think that is so big a deal.

I would overlook that remark unless something else was said.
