i have this old friend whose going to work with me. she is a gossip queen. she makes me gossip by putting names in my mouth and i end giving up saying funny things about tht person which kinda looks lik im gossiping cause she laughs n encourages me whereas nothing comes out her mouth but only about people i dont know very well. i always end up in her trap. i cant stop . another problem i become over friendly and end up goin out of my way to help others so they like me. how do i keep a working distance without getting personal yet a buddy for everyone!?i want the controll.How to be around new work peoplE?

No one can make you say anything. It's your choice to say anything about another person. Just do your work but be friendly. Stop talking about your co-workers.
