How do I get people to work in a community lot in the sims 2?

Ok, I have the Sims 2 deluxe edition which is sims 2 and sims 2 nightlife put together, anyway, I just built a new Neighbor Hood with a community lot, a restaurant. Just one problem, how do you get people working in the community lots? I tried creating a sim and putting him in the communtiy lot, but it says residents can't move into community lots, please help!How do I get people to work in a community lot in the sims 2?
I don't think you can. Only if you have Open For Business you can have your Sim own a community lot, and therefore work there. And I think you have to have University to work as a bartender or barista, but I'm not sure about that one. Try going up to a bar and click on it or the Sim working there and see if it says anything.How do I get people to work in a community lot in the sims 2?
You don't get to pick but when your person goes there in a taxi people will be working there. if its a store make sure you have a cash register assessable so the workers can check you out.
