Drafting Techs- Is this a good field? Do you like the work, the people, the environment?

I'm looking at possible careers, and this is the one I'm leaning toward. I'm 42, and looking for a change, and more money, eventually. I've also realized that the type of people I work with and meet are very important to how happy I am at work. I'm also hoping to be able to get into a career that allows me more creativity.
