Like for example, to a stereotype, people who will work out a lot will focus their energy on the buildup of their muscles, does that place some sort of a strain on understanding information?How does the brain work with people who work out...?
Working out is addictive. You feel good when you work out, it make you want to work out more. I worked out for years and got really in shape, built muscle, felt better than I ever have in my life, felt more alive.
If anything I found my brain worked better, I was sharper, quicker on the uptake.
I can't speak for steroid users, I knew a few who when they were cycling they were moody as hell. If that is what you are referring to then maybe the brain chemistry gets a little altered when using steroids but for those guys I knew, when they came off the cycles of steroids they returned to their normal selves. Some of those guys were highly intellegent.

Brain works even during our dreams. That means it works ceaselessly.
